Abstract :
Ad hoc is an auto-organized wireless network. Its topology changes frequently, therefore many route protocols based on topology analysis cannot correctly run in Ad hoc network. RPRP (Relative Position Route Protocol) is a new route protocol algorithm, in which every node measures or receives the relative position of its neighbor nodes, and then chooses the closest node from its neighbors as next hop. According to the test result in simulation system, we can draw some conclusions, e.g. total route length is very short, and it can adapt in network whose topologies change fast.
