Abstract :
In order to investigate the effect of ultra high toughness cementitious composites on seismic behavior of reinforced concrete frame joint, the low cyclic load were applied to 4 new-type frame joints of UHTCC so that it could be done to research on the failure behavior, hysteretic curve and displacement ductility of specimens. The experimental results showed that the ultra high toughness cementitious composites (UHTCC) could control the width of crack effectively and present the distribution characteristic of multiple fine cracks. The Ultra high toughness cementitious composites may significantly enhance the ductility of reinforced concrete frame joints, which will be helpful to anti-seismic structure. Furthermore, UHTCC may also improve the stirrup distribution in the joint zone and construction conditions.
