Abstract :
The review of author´s contributions on laser oscillation of structures with the static and induced phase Bragg grating in the planar oriented dye doped liquid crystal is made. Mode lasing spectra of the dye doped cholesteric liquid crystals (ChLC) are interpreted within the frames of the distributed feedback theory based on the coupled wave model of Shank-Kogelnik. Perspectivity of lasing with light induced Bragg gratings in nematic liquid crystals (NLC), including possibility of electrical frequency tuning of lasing due to NLC director reorientation is underlined.
