Abstract :
This study presents a novel model of a high-speed uni-travelling-carrier travelling wave (UTC-TW) photo detector for submillimeter wave signal generation. The model is fully analytical and is intended to be used as a design tool. This newly designed photo detector can operate well above 100 GHz.
