Abstract :
High permeability emulsified bitumen was prepared with asphalt Liaohe 90# to enhance the permeability of domestic products as priming oil. Emulsions were manufactured with preferred emulsifiers and penetrating agents selected by analysis of emulsion stability and penetrability. The results showed that emulsions, which were prepared with emulsifier A and C at the content of 1.4% and 0.9% respectively, met the specifications. In addition, emulsion prepared with emulsifier B of 1.5% and penetrating agent M of 2.5% also conformed to specifications. These emulsions had the potential to further promote the application.
