Abstract :
Concrete solid element SOLID65 and Shell element SHELL43 were used to simulate the steel - concrete composite open-web plate. An APDL program was compiled to study the composite open-web plate, and nonlinear properties of these floors were analyzed systematically. The validity of the model was verified by comparing the load-displacement curve between simulated data and experimental results. And the distributions of crack, stress and strain under the ultimate load were obtained, which indicating that the composite open-web plate has excellent mechanical behaviors.
