Abstract :
The accuracy of the control of an induction motor drive using the principle of field orientation depends on the relation of the current-speed model parameters to the machine values. Correlating the precalculated stator current trajectory used for the online pulse pattern calculation and the measured real trajectory enables readjustment of the model parameters. Advantageously this parameter estimation is faster than any test signal injection method, and with a predictive stator current control no additional sensors are required
