Abstract :
This study shows that by increasing current path inside of VCSEL, heat loss will be decreased, which results in increasing the wavelength stability. An alternative and significant advantage of the proposed method is that in mass production process it has in compatibility with the general mass production technology of commercial VCSELs. The simulation performance indicates that heat loss in three Terminal VCSEL is comparatively decreased in comparison with conventional VCSELs, consequently increasing the stability of work wavelength of VCSEL.
