Abstract
This paper presents a concept for a communication network to enable a balanced electrical grid for three types of independent agents. This ICT communication network uses a mesh network topology. Nevertheless the network should provide all requirements for a secure network and support the independence of agents. The balance between the consumption and production of energy will be maintained using swarm intelligence principles. Actual routing protocols for mesh networks will be adapted for use with swarm intelligence and for security requirements.
