Abstract :
A portable antenna VSWR meter composed of two sample directional couplers and a integrated detector AD8302 is introduced. But due to the limited directionality of couplers and indistinctness on lead-lag in phase of the detector, a calibration process is introduced to pick up the pure reflected wave and distinguish the lead-lag in phase between the detected waves. The experimental test result shows that the calibration process and method is necessary and effective, this portable antenna VSWR meter is suitable for the maintenance of base-station antenna & cable system.
