Abstract :
Under the assumption of single reflection of signal, using time of arrival (TOA), angle of arrival (AOA) and angle of departure (AOD) measurements from a single base station (BS) in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems, a closed-form solution of the nonlinear geometrical equations for mobile station (MS) location in the non-line-of-sight (NLOS) situation is given. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method is less computationally burdensome and achieves better accuracy.
