Abstract :
With the rapid development of Underground Engineering in Cities and wide use of DOT shield, how to guarantee the safety of construction on time is an urgent problem to solve. Because of its unique structure and shape, DOT shield tunnel construction would cause larger soil displacement and disturbance. Compared with single-round shield construction, it causes greater impact on the surrounding environment. The cause and mechanism of soil displacement was analyzed. The commonly soil displacement research methods were summarized including: empirical formula method, theoretical analysis, numerical analysis. From three aspects that soil displacement, soil disturbance, impact on adjacent building (structure), the impact of DOT shield construction on surrounding environment was researched. Current research progress and shortcomings were discussed, and further research trends and ideas were proposed.
