To study the adaptive thermal comfort of college dormitories in Hot summer and cold winter climate zone, firstly, through analyzing and exploring the relationship between indoor-outdoor climate and thermal sensation by environmental parameters test and questionnaire survey, the thermal neutrality temperature and the accepted temperature range of students in dormitories are obtained, the results show that students are psychologically adaptable to thermal environment. Then through analyzing the relationship between student´s adaptive behavior and environmental parameters, the results which obtained show that students have behavior adaptability to thermal environment. Finally, taking the characteristics of the human thermal comfort adaptability into consideration, the energy-saving potential was also analyzed.
