Abstract :
A novel broadband quarter-wavelength SIR BPF using LTCC technology is proposed. In this filter, three different coupling schemes are adopted. Edge-coupled structure is used to realize week coupling coefficient while great coefficient is obtained by applying direct magnetic coupling between two resonators or overlapping resonators in different LTCC layers. Based on the proposed strong coupling topology, the filter bandwidth is extended while the size is compacted. Besides, spur lines are adopted to improve the stopband rejection.
