Abstract :
The compact pulsed X-Ray source is presented in the paper. The X-Ray source consists of Marx pulsed high voltage generator (voltage is 100-200 kV, pulse duration is 20 nsec), vacuum diode with explosive emission cathode (beam current is 200-1000 A) and anode (target). The Marx high voltage generator has 10 stages. The X-Ray target has sandwich structure from deposited layer with high atomic number on the substrate with low atomic number and good thermal conductivity. The main parameters and applications of the X-Ray source are discussed
