Abstract :
In the last 20 years, many scientists have moved to the hydrogen and fuel cell field, it´s a very important energy system, very clean and renewable, the developed countries tried to build factories and to be the first to obtain this technology. Numerous applications exist, one of the promising applications is the automotive industry which already has buses and cars running on Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) fuel cells using hydrogen as a fuel, this system is one of the cleanest and most efficient technologies for generating electricity. Since there is no combustion, there are no pollutants commonly produced by boilers and furnaces [1], it has also the potential to replace the internal-combustion engine in vehicles and provide power in stationary and portable power applications because they are energy-efficient, clean, and fuel-flexible. This work is an introduction to the Hydrogen and PEM fuel cells area; it investigates the possibility to produce hydrogen from solar source to supply a fuel cell. The different parameter of this approach has been discussed and the data results have been illustrated in graphics.
