Abstract :
In order to find the proper grouting material for treatment of water leakage and tunnel-liner reinforcement in railway tunnel reconstruction project, the feasibility of a new kind of grouting material made of activated waste ceramic superfine powders is analyzed. The service performance of, consolidated strength, injectability, fluidity, stability and impermeability of the grouting material were examined in laboratory. The results showed that the grouting material has the same advantages of high consolidated strength, being easy to grout, acceptable fluidity, high stability and durability, comparing with traditional cement grouting material. The field test confirm further that the new kind of grouting material has better treatment of water leakage and structure reinforcement and can be used widely in railway railway tunnel reconstruction project.
