Abstract :
Thrust characteristics of a linear induction motor have been studied with experimental results and comprehensive analysis. A 2D finite element model has been made by using the Ansoft/Maxwell. Based on the model developed, simulations ware made on different materials and excitations. As the result, the optimal design has been identified, which parameter combination provides a higher thrust.
