Abstract :
The concept and future of networked virtual instrument (VI) is introduced. The networked functions of VI in publishing data, sharing data, remote control, distributed execution etc are briefly described. The new techniques in developing networked VI such as XML, .Net Remoting, Web service etc are discussed. The developing platform for networked VI based on universal developing platform is designed, and the functional libraries of driving program, algorithm of signal analysis, displaying data result etc are provided. The developing process of networked VI and the application of the instrument in networked monitoring and diagnosing are presented.
