Abstract :
A 5 kW DC-DC boost converter, adapted to integrated renewable energy applications, is placed at the point for adequately supplying to a DC bus, regenerated energy from a hydrogen fuel cell. The converter is based on the technique of multiphase control of chopping. This technique permits the augmentation of the output and of reducing the rate of harmonics. The authors present a new approach of the multiphase control based on the recurrent equations of phase currents. The technique of multiphase control, the analysis and the modeling of such a system are discussed. The study takes account of the frequency behaviour and the distortions. The experimental results, the integration of the converter to a renewable energy system are discussed
