Abstract :
This paper discusses the effectiveness of installing different types of passive and active filters in order to mitigate the current and voltage harmonics generated by adjustable speed drives (ASD). A simplified model for the drive is implemented in the study and sensitivity analysis is carried to assure the reliability of different filter configurations
