Abstract :
Measurement and control systems are important to operate an permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). This paper presents the development of a virtual instrument measurement and control platform for special applications in the fields of characteristic study of PMLSM. Using this platform, principal parameters of the motor can be tested and modified conveniently during the operation, and it is practically verified to be high efficient for testing and controlling the PMLSM.
