Abstract :
Nowadays, gabled frames develop rapidly in steel structure industry. Firstly, by means of studying this kind of structure, this paper summed up some issues that should be noted in design for this structure, such as roof pitch, the value of reference wind pressure, lateral effective length of gabled frame beam, joint of Anti-wind column and gabled frame beam, and how to consider the supporting point of purlines. Secondly, analyzed and discussed these problems. Further interpretation of the relevant codes can guide the design for the same kind of structures.
