Abstract :
Influence of wind generator different operating regimes to the power quality is presented in the paper. Analysis is performed using at first power quality measurements performed on the wind generator. Than, a detail simulation model based on data from wind generator manufacturer, distribution system operator (DSO) and measurements is developed. Influence of utility power supply to other consumers at the point of common coupling of the wind generator is compared with limits per EN50160 standard. Impact of wind generator to the utility is examined using methodology from IEC and IEEE standards and technical guidelines. Modeling of the real wind generator gives opportunity to check some operating regimes that are not possible to analyze from measurements. In that case, a simulation tool is developed based on a real plant parameters checked by measurements.
