Abstract :
To develop novel electromagnetic devices, it is essential to model accurately the magnetic properties of materials. Starting from the scalar magnetic hysteresis, this talk presents a systematic study of measurement and modeling of magnetic properties of different soft magnetic materials under various magnetizations, including the B-H relationships and core losses with one, two, and three dimensional magnetic fields. The models developed have been applied in designing numerous electromagnetic devices, and theoretical results verified by experiments.
