Abstract :
This paper presents a new approach to multiuser detection in code division multiple access (CDMA). The proposed detector is an adaptive nonlinear parallel interference cancellation scheme that uses a nonlinear function (hyperbolic tangent) as the decision device and uses the steepest descent method for finding the parameter of this nonlinear function. Numerical simulation results show the superior performance of the proposed method.
