Abstract :
The use of low frequency oscillations that occur in the bias circuit of a Gunn oscillator for Doppler signal detection in a Gunn self-oscillating mixer is described. This approach increases sensitivity, improves performance of a Gunn self-oscillating mixer and simplifies the scheme of Doppler signal processing. The system can be used as a short range self-mixing Doppler radar
