Abstract :
Through analyzing the characteristic of heat pump and water chiller, the method of replacing the chiller with heat source heat pump was proposed. Low-freezing solution in the tower was used as refrigeration medium to absorb heat from the air, and condenser was utilized to supply heat water for the user. As the key device for gaining heat from the ambient, heat-source tower played an important role in the whole system. Therefore the experiment was done on the cross-flow packing in the heat source tower, and results showed that: improving the difference of inlet solution temperature and ambient temperature, the heat transfer of heat-source tower straightened up and at the same time the absorbent solution volume soared. Increasing the air flow rate and solution flow rate, the heat transfer raised but became slowly. Raising the air flow rate could reduce the entrance of water-vapor condensed from the air to some extent, while increasing the solution flow rate could absorb more water vapor in large part.
