Abstract
The integration of PV into commercial buildings can offer multiple benefits like daylighting, shading and the replacement of the conventional roof-cover or facade. Under favourable conditions the economics of such a building integrated system can become attractive to private investors in the near future. In general, roof-integrated PV may be used in the south, whereas facade-integration is an option especially for the northern latitudes. In the presentation an economic analysis is given along with selected examples
