  • Abstract
    A tool is developed in order to acquire the analytical mathematical form of a signal depicted on an image. The resulting mathematical form can be used for simulation and survey purposes concerning the signal´s originating system. The mathematical method, on which the tool is based, is presented in two sections. In the first section the signal´s data set extraction algorithm is presented, while in the second section the analytical form representation procedure is outlined. A computer program realizing the proposed procedure has been constructed. Finally an oscilloscope printout is used to point out the method´s validity and demonstrate the manageability of the software-implemented tool
