The urban residential areas are developing rapidly in China with their ecological environment construction being attracting more and more attentions from all circles of the society. To implement the concept of the scientific development and realize the ecological environment civilization in the residential areas is to insist on people foremost, grasp the environmental characteristics, highlight regional ecological features, inherit and absorb the essence of Chinese and Western civilization, respect science, respect nature and cater for the mental and spiritual need of the residents, in hope that a more people-friendly, more natural and livable environment can be created.
