Abstract :
Buffer size estimation on QoS demands of a multimedia communication system is an important and challenging issue. Because the QoS is often related with many aspects, it is hard to resolve this problem with an analytic method based on a mathematical model. We propose a simulation method based on an operational Distributed Co-Design Model (DCDM). This method is used in the ROCS, and the operating process is shown by taking the MPEG video transmission over a wireless channel.
