Abstract :
In this paper, the capacity of the limited length antenna array systems is presented. Since, the total size of the array is often fixed, thus the correlation of fading and also the mutual coupling of two elements separated in index by some value l is increased. The obtained results show that with and without channel state information in most of the cases, the three linear antenna arrays is the optimum choice. Arranging antennas in x-y plane and in y-z plane are also considered. Previous studies show that the without mutual coupling, capacity of a (N, N) multiple element antenna (MEA) system converges by increasing N, but there is no convergence, in the presence of mutual coupling.
