Mountainous urban ecological security relates to regional harmonious development and stability, which is a state of controlling key factors and dealing with disasters. Some threat factors are analyzed, such as serious city disasters, bad environmental self-purification capability, contradiction between urban spatial expansion and shortage of land resource, lopsided industrial structure and fragmentation of natural ecological network system. And it is pointed out that mountainous city master plan must attach importance to guarding against geologic hazard, choosing reasonable urban space development model, land use based ecological integration, environment quality monitoring and establishing ecological security idea for the sake of mountainous urban ecological security.
