Abstract :
The power market deregulation, introduction of clean energy and increasing of disasters are gradually having major effects on the reliability of electric power systems. Because those risk factors affect telecom power systems, we must design and operate telecom power systems so as to manage the risks those factors produce. In considering telecom power reliability, various visualizations are important. This paper briefly considers the various risks relevant to telecom power systems, introduces risk visualization tools developed by NTT Facilities, and ends by demonstrating the effectiveness of those tools through case studies.
