Service-Oriented Aggregation of Distributed and Heterogeneous Information Resources

Coordinated aggregation and sharing of heterogeneous and distributed information from autonomous sources remain to be a challenging issue. Resources virtualization can play an important role herein. This paper proposes a service-oriented virtualization framework for information resources aggregation. The framework architecture and structures for information aggregation are discussed, and implementation techniques and usability issues of the framework are explored with examples.
