  • Abstract
The paper focuses on sophisticated switch mode power supply with pure sinusoidal output voltage waveform upgraded with a sensor to reduce the parasitic DC component. Many authors present new inverter topologies emphasizing their high efficiency, low total harmonic distortion or excellent line and load regulation capability. On the other hand, there are only a few concerning the DC component reduction. The paper describes a simple sensor that is capable of detecting a small voltage asymmetry as low as 5 mV, in the presence of high AC component (500 V RMS). It is small, light and can be implemented in any kind of inverter topology
