Abstract :
Design methodology for radio system hardware is presented in this paper. Design approach is applied for an IEEE 802.11a Radio receiver. By considering a Wide band IF receiver architecture ADS-based simulation results of designed RF circuits shows receiver high performances in terms of gain, noise figure, inter-modulation, image rejection and sensibility.
