Abstract
In this work, new tools are provided for the control of the operation band in harmonic-injection dividers. Ideal-feedback impedances are used in order to achieve particular design goals. These impedances are implemented using synthesis techniques at a later design stage. Examples of design goals are the setting of the lower or upper-frequency band edge with a given output power or the simultaneous setting of the two frequency-band edges. The nonlinear techniques are implemented on commercial harmonic balance, using auxiliary generators. The techniques have been applied to a practical frequency divider by two, with a 10.4 GHz input source
