Abstract :
The issues to be discussed in this paper are the advantages to combining circuit breakers in the primary distribution with fuses in the secondary to take advantage of the clearing characteristics of both. Return configurations and cable management will be touched upon. We will also discuss the criteria for testing a Battery Distribution Fuse Bay (BDFB) before acceptance.
