Abstract :
We compare two photonic technologies for the physical implementation of hybrid wavelength/time codes for optical CDMA transmission: arrayed waveguide gratings and fiber Bragg gratings. We also present a new, flexible grating-based encoder that can realize various types of wavelength/time codes
