Abstract :
Remote keyless-entry systems demand design expertise from many disciplines in both electrical and mechanical disciplines. The paper will cover several topics such as processor performance and implementation considerations as they relate to system operation over extended temperature and other environmental issues in the application. Not only must the microcontroller (MCU) chosen perform its intended task, it must conform to the power consumption and system footprint specifications required by battery and space-constrained applications
