Abstract :
Serial crime is generally defined as crimes in aserial or repetitive nature. In our paper, we try todevelop a method to aid in investigations of serial criminals by finding out the next location of the serial criminals. In our paper, firstly we work out a Concentration Driven Model (CDM) to make a prediction providing some kind of guidance about possible locations of the next crime from the microscopic point of view. Secondly, we add the concept of the center of hunting area and build a Centro-based Model (CM) tomacroscopicallypredict the possible locations of the next crime. Thirdly, we combine both models and come up with a combined model aiming at generate a more reliable prediction of the possible locations of the next crime.
