Abstract :
There have been the new universal configurations of active power line conditioners (APLC) proposed. In the simplest case, they are combinations of two base APLC systems connected symmetrically in a cascade with one common add-on source. The basic one-phase symmetrical APLC and example of possible applications are shown in the paper. Power flow between add-on sources of the two basic APLC and their energetic properties are compared to indicate that the new proposed solution allow to minimize losses and are superior to the base APLC
