Abstract :
Topping today´s PCMCIA best seller lists are standard faxmodem cards, LAN cards and hard drive cards. The lineup reflects that communications is one of the fastest growing segments of the PC card market. In the near future, the market will see the beginning of an abundance of multifunction PCMCIA cards, particularly the LAN/faxmodem card. Card combinations to come later fuel the imagination: faxmodem and pager, pager and wireless LAN, SCSI and sound, LAN and sound, among others
