Abstract :
Compare to other telecom systems, multiple input multiple output (MIMO) has higher spectral efficiency. This technology can effectively increase capacity of channel without aggrandize the transmitting power or signal bandwidth. With the help of uniform angular distribution and the correlation matrix, we analysis the channel capacity of correlated channels and get the general formula for the calculation of channel capacity. The formula suggest that the augment of correlation can contribute to the decrease of SNR, and the radius of circular receive antenna array or angle spread is the dominating factor for determining channel capacity.
