Abstract
This paper proposes a simple PWM scheme which alleviates the common mode voltage problems of the three level inverter applications. The new scheme uses only seven voltage vectors. In addition, this method avoids the occurrence of narrow PWM pulses and gives the advantage of less complex control circuitry. Moreover the new PWM scheme shows a great potential of reducing common-mode current and bearing current problem
