Abstract
The Educational Virtual Environment for Mathematics (EViE-m) is a virtual reality platform which supports mathematics education. By answering multiple-choice questions of various levels of difficulty, users gain access to VR world elements such as buildings and technology trees in order to construct organized virtual cities. The platform rewards users´ ability/dexterity by providing access to even more advanced world elements which enable them to build highly structured virtual worlds. This technique is best suited for repetition, drilling and honing skills. In this paper, we report on two custom made modules of the platform: (a) the Question Manager which eases the administration of a vast number of multiple-choice questions typically handled by the EViE-m platform and (b) the Tutoring Module which integrates the logic of user advancement in the game.
