Abstract :
This work aims at driving Complex Event Processing (CEP) by means of context in ubiquitous logistics environment. CEP is a tool that allows the processing of events by relating them using patterns. Context, on the other hand, is relevant information about the situation of a particular entity in a specific moment. In ubiquitous logistics environments, the context has as inputs physical events generated by sensors. Our approach consists in a framework that allows the generation of appropriate statements to be executed on a CEP engine. The appropriateness here means two things: first, that the statements to detect events patterns in a process activity are generated when necessary; and second, that the expressions in the CEP statements have values in accordance to the situation on course.
