Abstract
We address the tradeoff between performance and freshness in the context of a dynamic content caching system. We present a framework that allows a dynamic content caching system to operate in an optimal region based on specified minimum performance and freshness requirements. Our sliding scale guarantee approach guarantees that system performance falls within the optimal region by dynamically adjusting cache invalidation policies based on run-time information
